Aloha Performing Arts Company will resume its schedule of theater classes beginning April 7 with Felicity Johnson’s “Intergenerational Acting Class.”

Aloha Performing Arts Company will resume its schedule of theater classes beginning April 7 with Felicity Johnson’s “Intergenerational Acting Class.”

Open to all ages, Johnson’s classes from 2-4 p.m. Thursday through May 26. Tuition is based on $10 per class, or $80 for the entire session.

Jerry Tracy’s “Tuesday Troupers” class for 8- to 12-year-olds will continue from 3:30-5:30 p.m. April 19 through May 24. The six-week class focuses on performance skills such as projection, articulation and characterization. Tuition is $60 per student.

Nicole Gour resumes her “Keiki Theatre” class from 4:30-5:30 p.m. Wednesdays, April 20 through May 25. The class will consist of structured play and theater games aimed at increasing self-confidence and developing stage presence. Tuition is $60.

All classes are conducted at the historic Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu, and each will culminate in a free performance open to the public on the last class day.

In addition, Engela Edwards continues as adviser of Aloha Teen Theatre, which meets from 4:30-7 p.m. Fridays at the APAC Loft. Aloha Teen Theatre is ongoing and accepts new members between the ages of 13 and 18 at any time.
